Hello, happy mid week.

I'm here to share with you my new card for The Crafty Addicts new fortnight challenge with the theme: Anything Goes/ Hobbies.

Oh yes, this is my new card with current challenge theme.

I love reading and i enjoy the moment only me and my big book.

Of cause i seldom have time for reading after i've my new hobby in scrapbook world, but i do read when i taking off from my scrapbook room. :)

I color her with my color pencil, and I create this rainbow book stacking background with Unity Stamps - I love big books stamps set.

Last, i add some sequins as final touch up for my card.

The Crafter's Cafe Challenge # 151 - For a Child

Hey ya all my scrappy friends, happy mid week.
Today is 15th of the month and i'm here to share a quick project for The Crafter's Cafe Challenge bi-weekly challenge with the new challenge theme: For a Child.

Since the challenge theme is for a child, i decided to make a recycle gift back for a present. This is the box i found in my office pantry just perfect for my project.

So, i just took a photo before i start makeover.

Da da... here is my makeover gift bag for a child.

On my gift bag, i'm using the Birthday Cupcake which sponsored by Bloobel Stamps.

Open Minded Crafting Fun Challenge #6: Seasons/Holidays

Hello buddies, happy Friday to you.

Today, i would like to share with you all my new project for Open Minded Crafting Fun Challenge June Challenge with the challenge theme Seasons/Holidays.

I'm not sure what is the season you are having right now, but where i stay will be summer all the year.

Guess what is the best activity for summer? Of cause it's BBQ party!

Where The Heart Is Challenge #10: Use A Die Cut/Punch

Hi buddies, happy Monday.

Today, i'm sharing my new project for Where The Heart Is Challenge with our new challenge theme for June: Use A Die Cut/Punch.

 Here is my project for this month challenge. 

Yes, I'm not using any images from our sponsor(s) as i decided to give my self a try to do a mixed media project, a recycle project with a plastic bottle which i brought back from my lunch last Friday.

This is my finish project for the challenge.

Supply that i used for the project are: Gesso, Distress Paint, Golden Medium Gel, Paper Flowers, border puncher, butterfly puncher, burlap, die cuts, rhinestones and gold ink pad. 

This is my first time trying with makeover project, hope you like it.

This is Whimsical Cupcake Sprite from Aurora Wings. 

I colored her with my brand new Zig Kuretake Gansai Tambi Watercolor. 

Although I rarely hands on watercolor painting, but i seriously love this watercolor set as the color is so concentrate, and the pigment can be "lifted up" easily compare with other watercolor. 

With the vibrant color on my card, can you believe it's painted with watercolor? :)

Love her because she is sitting on the anchor, and it reminds me one of the vacation i would love to try is to get myself off for few days on the cruise.

The Crafter's Cafe Challenge # 149 -Bright Colours

Hello friends, Happy Sunday!

Today, I would like to share a surprise card for The Crafter's Cafe Challenge new challenge with the theme: Bright Colours.

Here is the front page for the card.

It's a black and white CAS card with very minimum deco, just sentiment and some sequins.

Da da.... Once you open the card, the bright colors in the card will be the surprise for your recipient.

For my card, i'm using the Cupcake with Leaf sponsored by Robyn's Fetish.

For this card, i didn't do a lot of coloring.

Since the theme is bright colours, i'm using the paper piecing technique for the cupcake image.

I only apply some Sakura Gelly Roll Gel Pens on the flower and leaf to create some gelly glossy effect.

After complete the paper piecing, i added some gold stickles as highlight on the cream.

I complete the card with other embellishment like washi tape, die cut circles with pattern paper in my stash, alphabet stickers, border punch out and ink up the birthday sentiment.

I guess it's pretty cool to give a small surprise to someone on their birthday, and i love to receive such surprise too.
