Guest Designer for 4 Crafty Chicks Challenge #312 - Leaves

Hi scrappy friends, good day to you!
Well, today I'm sharing my new project with you for 4 Crafty Chicks Challenge Blog with new challenge theme: Leaves.

I think this is my first time officially sharing on the watercolor flower wreath.
I learn this technique in one of the workshop recently, and I'm still learning how to paint watercolor flower wreath.

As our new challenge theme is Leaves, i decided to paint it myself and share with you.
At the center on the wreath, i stamp up the image and sentiment from Our Daily Bread Designs.
Hope you like my flower wreath card, do come back next Thursday for my last project for 4 Crafty Chicks.
Stay tune.

With the vibrant color on my card, can you believe it's painted with watercolor? :)

Here is the closer look for my image.

Let me introduce to you here.

First, it is the FB fan page challenge host by Unity Stamps.
Unity is having the weekly challenge with different theme each week.
All participant might enter their project as much as they like, as long as it is using Unity's stamp and it meet the challenge theme of the week.
Below is the challenge theme for 17 - 24 March, it's a color challenge this week. :)

The next challenge is host by Bugaboo Stamps, they are having the bingo challenge this week, you may check out the details here.

With the 2 challenge themes above, its' inspired me to create this card.

Using the color challenge from Unity Stamps, i create a card with the bingo requirement from Bugaboo challenge which are: a card with 3 layers, applying some die cut and adding a sentiment to my card.
In case you are curious, this beautiful butterfly is from Unity Moment by moment stamp kit, and i colored it with distress ink.

That's all for my first project today.

The next project is inspired by the photo inspiration in Time Out Challenge.
If you would love to know more, you may check out here.

Photo credits to Marjan from Time Out Challenge Blog.

Combine the photo challenge and color challenge from Unity Stamps, I've create this wall display using the stamps from Unity Insighful Meadows and the sentiment from Unity All about hope Sentiment kit.
Although it's rather simple, but i just love the image and I have to put in the living room to remind myself to be faithful in prayer!

Let love fly in the night

Hello my scrappy friends, how are you today?
It's always feel so good on Friday especially you have some personal time to create something beautiful in your scrappy room. Yay!

Today i wanna share with you all my new card using Unity StampLet love fly stamp.
I love this stamp so much and it's from Unity Illustrator Phyllis Harris, all her stamps just too adorable and awesome.
Just a hint to you, Unity is having great sales for all the Phyllis Harris stamps this week, grabs it before it gone!

And here is my card today.
It take a great courage for me to try on something new to me -- to used dark/black color on my image.
I always afraid to color my image in darker color as i worried that it will ruins down the whole idea of the card/ artwork. As i blending the distress ink on my card literally,  i begin to release my tension and i just enjoy myself the whole process of making this card.

It take me more than an hour to complete this card, yet i enjoyed to the max as i learning to try on something new to me.
I colored my image with color pencil, then i blended the color with water brush to creates the water color effect.
After this, I embossed the sentiment from the same kit on vellum and decorate with some cute flower brads and stone.

Last, i tie up a ribbon bow and apply some silver stickles in the sky to create a galaxy night scene on my card.

If you are new to Unity Stamp Challenge, you may click on the link above.
Every month, they will have a monthly be inspired challenge which will last for a month with a challenge theme as below. You may link up your post which inspired by the challenge theme to their challenge blog post as long as you are using Unity's stamps.

Hope you like my project today, have a nice day!
