Open Minded Crafting Fun Challenge #35: Shabby Chic

Hi peeps, happy Saturday!
Today, i'm back with a new creation for Open-Minded Crafting Fun Challenge with the theme: Shabby Chic.

This is something new to me as I'm not familiar to create crafts with shabby chic theme, and i actually try to google about this theme and getting some inspiration from Pinterest.
Oh ya, did i mentioned that i love Pinterest so much?
I love to check out projects and craft ideas from Pinterest whenever i'm free.
Thousands of beautiful projects has been shared and you can follow my artwork if you wish too!
Do check out my DIY board here.

This is my artwork for today's theme.
The image i used on my card is sponsored by Kith and kin stamp co. and her name is Ella, the Ballerina.

I decorate the card with lace, paper flowers, pearls and ribbon.

As Mothers' Day just around the corner, i think it is nice to create a beautiful card for all the mothers in the world, don't you agree with me?

Open Minded Crafting Fun Challenge #34: Recycle Something

Hello, happy Saturday to you. How is everyone doing?
Today, i'm back with my new creating for Open-Minded Crafting Fun Challenge with the challenge theme: Recycle Something.

The first though comes in my mind is to create something like recycle art/projects. But as i gather the materials in my scrappy room, i realize that i have so much of leftovers on my table and i decided to create something out of these paper pieces.

This is part of the leftover pieces i kept.
I just don't feel like throwing the paper to dustbin even though it is just a small piece left over, and now i gonna use them to create a new card, amazing huh! :)

This is the background created with the leftover paper pieces. Love the colors appeared.

This is the final design for my card today.
I used the image sponsored by Stitchy Bear Stamps, and she is Flora Fae
I colored Flora Fae with color pencils, and decorate with some paper flowers and stamp up the birthday sentiment.

Did you notice she have a glitter shining wings?
Yes, you are right, I've applied some diamond stickles to her wings, love to see her wings have the glitter feel, reminds me of the Disney Fairies - Tinker Bell.

Hope you like my creation today.
