Open Minded Crafting Fun Challenge #37: Song Inspiration

Hi peeps, happy weekend to you!
Today, i'm gonna share with you my new project for Open Minded Crafting Fun Challenge and today's challenge is Song Inspiration!

I have make a mixed media tag by using image sponsor by Sentimental Susan, Tiger Cub.
I colored the image with my Fine Color Marker on another card, then i cut out the image and stick on the tag with 3D form sticker to create a layer on the tag.

Here is the closer look at the image and the tag.
I colored my tag with Distress Ink, and my initiate idea is to create a night scene on the tag.
After applying few colors on the tag, i actually love this color and decided to leave it as my final background color.
To enhance the evening scene on the tag, i added some silver Stickers to create a "start light" feel on my tag.

Last, i put on the sentiment from Unity Stamp, All about hope Kit
The whole tag idea is inspired by the song Survivor- Eye Of the Tiger.
If you never heard before, do click on below video to enjoy.

That all for my tag today, hope you likes my creation today.

Open Minded Crafting Fun Challenge #36: Wedding Or Anniversary

Hi peeps, happy weekend!
It's good to be back with my new project for Open Minded Crafting Fun Challenge again.
Guess what? I'm totally in love with the new challenge theme start from today: Wedding Or Anniversary.

In most of the time, when someone mentioned about wedding / anniversary, peoples always have some ideas about flowers, laces, ribbons. Yet, i'm creating something totally different today.

This is my card for today theme.
I'm using the image sponsored by My Whimsical Little World. Just love this little Gnomeo when i saw in the website.
I colored him with my Fine Color Marker and decided to create a special anniversary card for my hubby for our anniversary in July.

Oh, I really love this heart and it simply give me the feeling of loving someone with all your heart.
I purposely added in the glossy accent to make it look juicy and shinning.

If you notice, I've adding some glitter on 2 alphabets on my emboss background, R is referred to me, and definitely D is referred to my hubby, hopes he likes the card that i specially made for our anniversary. :)

That all for my card today, hope you likes my card too.

This is the card i would like to share with you today.
I just falling in love with distress ink recently and i just couldn't stop my self from creating project using the distress ink.
I colored the oval frame with Peeled Paint, Mustard Seed & Spiced Marmalade.
I stamped some of the Stemless wish stick around the sentiment. This cute little stemless wish stick is from Unity Stamp Wish with your heart Sentiment Kit.

At the side, i added some paper flowers and the die cut swirls, key and padlock set.

Here is the closer look for the sentiment i stamped up, this stamp is from Unity Stamp Your heart and my heart grab bag.
"Best friend are the people you can do anything and nothing with and still have the best time."

#UnconditionalLove

Hi, i'm back again with a new project to share.
Just posting up a card I've make recently with the hand made flower which i learned in a class in March.
This card is rather simple, but i'm playing with the Heidi Swapp color shine to create the back ground.

This is the paper flower i learned to do in the class, so beautiful.

I'm using the image from Unity Stamp, Strength & Dignity KOM 11/13, and i emboss the image with emboss powder. For the sentiment, i'm using 1 of the stamp from Unity Stamp Hashtag kit

As touch up, i did applied some diamond stickels on the flower.

The Heidi Swapp color shine just make the background so pretty.

That's all for my post today, hope you love it.

Birthday Swing/ Flip Card

Hi, how is your day going on?
Today, i'm showing one of the card i made for my friend's birthday, a swing/ flip card.

This is my first attempt and i really love the idea of the card.
I actually learn the tutorial from this video.

And here is my card, hope you like it.

The stamp i used is from Unity Stamp Perfect in every way KOM 06/09

Do you see the shinning sparkling effect on the image? I actually apply a layer of diamond stickles on the surface and even out the stickles with my finger.

This is how the card look like when i flatten it.

This is the first page of the card.

Once you have open up the page, the card will flip to another page.
Pretty cool design huh. :)

Hope you like my card today, have a nice day.

Classed attended for Guest Signature Book and Mini Album @ Scrap n Crop

Hi peeps, how are you today?
Well, today i would like to share 2 projects that I've completed since last month after attending the workshop in Scrap n Crop. (finally i have time to upload it!)

The first class is in end March, and this is a guest signature book for an event like wedding/ engagement party and etc.
This is the first time for me to actually learning how to DIY my own paper flowers and doing a book binding. (Sound great right? ;) )
Thanks to Sazalina Zakaria, she is really talented for flower making.
She is so patience with us although all of us are newbies on paper flower making, but we manage to follow step by step and complete the flower.

Here you go, this is the cover for my signature book. I actually can't believe that i make this for first time, so beautiful!

Did you see the water drops on each flowers? We learn to used glossy accent to create this water drop effect in the class!

I adding some charms as decoration too!

By adding a theme on the cover, this guest signature book is ready to present in the event!

After completed my first class, I've register myself for another class in SnC for this water color mini album with Angeline Choo in April.
Although I've learned to do mini album before, but what really caught my attention is the class is going to hands on with water colors, Distress inks, Prima Bloom Sprays and etc, and i really wanted to give myself a try on each media so that i could learn and apply on my coming projects.

Here comes the Canvas mini album cover. On this cover, I have used the Prima Bloonm spray, die cuts, distress ink, Prima flowers, brads and etc.

When comes to design for each page, Angeline did shared with us how to used Distress Ink to create your own color, the different ways of using Distress Ink really impressed me!

No only playing with colors, we do learn to create folders and tags which can enhance the album.

Using die cuts, flower, button and stamps to decorate each page.

Another way of creating extra folders so that we can add more photos and notes.

Did you see the colorful label above, this is create by the distress ink, so beautiful!

This is another technique to create extra pages by adding another panel.

This is how the page open and close.

More panel being add  in so that we could add more photos!

Awesome small pages allows us to write a little journal on each photos.

Love the light bulb stamp, great embellishment if you out of ideas and die cuts.

Experiment on smaller panel add on.

Once open, can put a nice picture and journal.

So in love with these beautiful embellishment.

This is last page of my mini album, another folder for keeping tags, journal and even tickets.

By completing these 2 classes, i really enjoy myself to the max and hope to have more projects to share with you later.
Thanks for stopping by, have a nice day!
