The Crafter's Cafe Challenge # 153 - CAS

Hello, happy Friday, woohoo!
Time is flying off so fast, it's 15th of the month and I'm here to share a card for The Crafter's Cafe Challenge bi-weekly challenge with the new challenge theme: CAS.

I love CAS card. 

If you are confuse what it mean by CAS, it is Clean And Simple.

I always admire crafters that able to make CAS beautifully, and with some sharing in the blog land, i finally can pick up the skill to make some CAS card in my way.

For today's card, i'm using Leggy Lilly - Teen which sponsored by DigiStamps4Joy.

I colored her with a theme of pink and white, and i guess most of the girl love pink color.

I purposely ink up the "you are fabulous" sentiment from Unity Stamps, make it as an cheerful card for someone who need some encouragement when she is upset/ discourage.

Happy Fathers' Day

Hey, I'm sharing my another artwork for today FWF entry, Friday just so awesome till i refuse to go to bed so early!

I decided to make another quick CAS card tonight in conjunction with Fathers' Day on Sunday, and tell you a secret... this is my first card for my dad, feel so shy! :p

This card inspired by the Addicted to cas challenge 65: butterfly theme. 

As i browsing through all the stamps i have, i found this beautiful butterfly stamp from Unity Stamp. 

I remember i received this stamp from one of the grab bag offered by Unity some times ago, if you interest to get one, you may consider to get from here - Totally UtterlyAmazing -Kom 5/13.

I colored the center of the card with Distress Ink - Salty Ocean, Mustard Seed and Picked Raspberry. 

After the card is dry, i emboss the butterfly image with Versa Mark transparent ink pad and black emboss powder.

Sorry that my camera cannot really capture the embossed butterfly for you, but the butterfly looks gorgeous on the card.
Last, i write on the :Happy Fathers' Day sentiments and added some sequins as decoration.

Be Brave, Strong & Courageous - CAS Card

This is my second post for today, something simple, something new for me.
I actually attracted by the new challenge - Addicted to CAS, which i found out yesterday and i would like to give a try.

To be frank, i don't really create CAS (Clean and Simple) card from the day i start to create handmade cards, but somehow it's new to me and i think this is fun to try on. Here comes the challenge theme for these 2 weeks.

Not only have the style of card to make, i also inspired by Unity Be Inspired Monthly Challenge for March and i decided to combine both theme together for my card. :)



I choose the stamp from Strength & Dignity KOM 11/13, and the sentiment from same kit - Be Brave, Strong & Courageous.

 

I've create this card with simple supply as Distress ink and stamp, and i decided to let it as clean as possible.

 

This is the CAS card i made today, do you like it?
