For me, i have chosen the stamp set from Unity Stamp Donna poppies By Donna Downey and the leafs is from Smile its your day July 2015 Sentiment Kit which is from Unity Stamp too.

I cut my card stock into 3 sizes with the help of Lawn Fawn small stitched rectangle die set. Then, i paste my cut out pieces on the color card stocks and trim the border as shown.

Crafty Mess Challenge#4: Anything Goes

Happy Tuesday peeps.
Welcome back to my new post for Crafty Mess November Challenge.
As the theme for Crafty Mess will be anything goes, so i decided to create a card with some simple supply in my stash.
The idea comes is because I do have friend around me always think that they need a lot of expensive and huge variety of craft supplies in order to create a handmade card, but actually it's not.

For today's card, i used the Goth-fairy-witch-digital-stamp which sponsored by Lemon Shortbread.
I colored my image with pencil colors, which everyone can get in the stationery shop near your place.
Then, i pick up 2 pattern papers from my stash to create the background for my card.
I did die cut one of the pattern paper with my spellbinder floral oval dies, but if you do not have one, you can just cut the pattern paper in a small rectangle or circle to create multiple layer on your card.

Next, i add one 2 strips of washi tape, and i stick the "WISH" sentiment from the alphabet stickers which you can get in a stationery shop or book shop. I believe that some time we might not able to have a lot of embellishment like stickers, dies cuts, but you can replace with stamps.

Someone did told me before-- the moment you know that you need more stickers which you do not have, you always can try with stamping.
The supplies for this idea is super easy, all you need is a card stock, a clear/ rubber stamp, and a ink pad.
With these supplies,  i created the banner in my card which look like a chip board stickers on my card. The only thing i do is cut out the image and stick up the banner with the double side foam tape,

So simple right?
I hope that you enjoy my little sharing today, do come back tomorrow as i will have other projects to share with you all.

Do come and share your projects with us today, by linking up your post, you could stand a chance to win some prizes from sponsors below:

Where The Heart Is Challenge #3: Winter Blues

Happy Monday!
Well, it's time for the new challenge for Where the Heart Is Challenge Blog.
Our theme for November will be Winter Blues.
I love winter, although where I live do not have the season of winter, but i just love this season because it reminds me of Christmas! Yay!

This is my project for this month Challenge, a winter blues mixed media canvas with Lacy Sunshine - Melanie Boo's- The Christmas Star.

I colored my image with color pencil, then i cut out my image with the Spellbinders Nestabilities Floral Ovals dies and i distress the border with the Distress Ink - Tumbled Glass.
To begin my canvas background, the first step i do is put on the color papers and lace with the Golden Gel Medium on the canvas.
Next, I cover the canvas with Gesso before applying any color on top.
Then, i apply my first thin layer of the Distress Ink - Broken China through out the canvas. After it's dry, i tab on the Broken China with Distress Paint around the canvas border. I prefer to tab the color randomly as i wanted the color appear as not smooth so that it creates the layers on the canvas.

After the color is dry, I apply some Golden Glass Beads Gel Medium at the border.
It help to create the snowy look after it dry.
Last, i decorate the canvas with the snowflake die cuts and some rhinestone and sequins.

Here is the closer look for my canvas, hope you like my project today.
