Growing in Unity 2017 - Day 4: Halloween with Kooky Spooky Bat

Hi Unity friends, welcome back to my GIU Day 4 sharing.
It's been fast for this week, and i can't believe that it's my 4th sharing for this week.

Here comes my GIU Day 4 project, a shaker Halloween Card with Kooky Spooky Bat.
Since it's Sept now, why now start preparing your Halloween items? :)

For my card, I'm embossing the Kooky Spooky Bat image randomly as the background.
Then, i emboss the sentiment from Spooktacular spider with white emboss powder to create the contrast.
Then, i create the window or you may call it as frame which cover with the double sided foam tape to seal the sequins and glitter powder in the shaker card.
Last, i decorate the border of my frame with the cute Halloween sequins i bought recently.
Tips: Please ensure you transparent plastic/ cover have stick well on the frame before you put the double sided foam tape.

This is how the card looks like when i start shaking.

Here is the closer look in my shaker card, happy Halloween!

Hope you enjoy my sharing today, remember to come back tomorrow for my last day as GIU sharing, see you.

Growing in Unity 2017 - Day 3: What Lies Bahind Us (KOM11/14)

Hello Unity friends, how are you today.
Sorry for the late posting as my schedule has been interrupted and i only can publish my post slightly late today.
I seriously love you all so much, each comments on my past 2 days post truly encourage me and it's so touch! Hugs...

So, for today, i gonna share with you all a card with Unity Stamp What Lies Within Us (KOM11/14) and Where You Should Be Kit.
I create the back ground with Versamark - versa magic ink pad, and i color my image with color pencil. I used a border puncher to create the beautiful border, and i choose a matching color card stock as the card base.
Last, I ink up the sentiment on vellum to complete my card.

I love this sentiment so much, it just reminds me that most of the time, we forget to appreciate what we have today, the people that we meet every day.
This sentiment just repeat in my mind to thank God for each brand new day, thank Him for the blessing we have, and the friends and family that by our side each day.

That's all from me today, do come back tomorrow for my new project.
See you, God blessed.

Growing in Unity 2017 - Day 2: Midnight Kisses (KOM11/16)

Hi Unity friends, welcome back to my GIU Day 2 sharing.
Today, i gonna share with you all my journal page with Unity Stamps Midnight Kisses (KOM 11/16).

This beautiful image is from Unity Stamp: Midnight Kisses (KOM 11/16)
I always inspired with friends around the world how they illustrate they Faith with different media and art. Since i do not have the journal bible, i started to learn to paint with my journal.

The Bible verse i taking is on Psalm 31:14-15 " I trust in, relied on, and was confident in You, O Lord; I said, You are my God. My time are in Your hands."
Sometimes, i did wondered what i could do for God with the talent He gave me, and He pinned this to me heart: Give GOD your best.
Yes, in everything i do, it don't have to be perfect, but i could give Him my best.
I might not have the prefect writing, i might not have the journal bible, but i still able to illustrate my faith in my journal.

Here is the closer look for my page.
I color my image with water color, something simple yet beautiful.

Hope you like my sharing today, see you tomorrow.

Growing in Unity - Day 5

Hi hi, welcome back for my last day as GIU girl this week. Have you following my post since Monday? If no, you can start from Day 1 and do leave comment on each post for a chance to win 2 Itty Bitty Stamp by end of the week.

As today is the last day as GIU girl for me, i would like to share a mixed media tag for Christmas.
This is the first time i'm using Suzi Blu stamp on my artwork, and i'm pretty nervous as i never try on her stamps before.
When i took out the tag (which is the free gift from Unity order), my mind just kept thinking about this stamp.
Did i mentioned how i get this stamp from Unity? I actually got it from one of the grab bag which i purchased last year. This stamp has been sitting in my stamp folder for a year, and finally i used it for this project.
To cut the story short, I've a simple tutorial show as below.

First, i colored my tag with Tim Holtz Distress Paint: Picked Raspberry and China Blue.
The fun of distress paint is it will react to water and you can blend the color easily when it is wet! If you would like to learn more about distress paint, you can check out the video here.
This is how my tag look like after it is dry.

Next, i pick up 2 snowflake stamps from Snowflake kisses kit which i share in my yesterday's post. I stamp up both stamps randomly on my tag with Brilliance Moonlight White stamp pad.

Next, i stamp up the Boy Exclusive stamp on a white card stock, colored it and cut out the image as below.

Last, I stamp a Christmas sentiment from Everything Christmas sentiment kit on a piece of card stock. I roll up the head and bottom of the card stock to make it look like a scroll.
Then,  i add in establishments like paper flowers and ribbon to complete my tag.

Tell your a good news, Unity is having a Suzi Blu Sales this weekend, grab all the Suzi Blu stamps now, it's 50% off this week!

Do you like my tag today?
Kindly share your thought with me, i will pick a lucky person tomorrow and he/she will have a chance to get 2 Itty Bitty stamp for free!
Thanks for reading my post and leaving comments throughout these 5 days, do keep an eye tomorrow as i will announce the winner by tomorrow.
Happy Halloween!
