When Decoupage meet Scappy

I always love to make things that is out of norm, so here i come to combine the scrappy art and decoupage together. What i like about decoupage is you can apply on any surface like wood, glass, steel, cloth & etc... and with base coat and protection coat, it will turn the item into pretty stuff.
For me, i prefer wood surface and do have few samples to show.

This wood hanger i found in a local shop which sell a lot of cute stuff. The sentiment is from Unity Stamp, Learn-live-hope stamp.

This is memo holder and i add some blink stone around the cup cake.

This is another wood hanger. I'm using Donna Poppies from Donna Downey and Lasting Thoughts kit from Unity Stamp. Trust me, the Poppies flower is very huge and it's really good for canvas projects. I've add some butterfly to make it more 3D.

I order this Welcome hanger from Taiwan, and i have a strong feeling that this hanger is suitable to put in house, thus i decided to do it for house deco. The stamp is from Better Together kom 7/11, then i colored it with my FINE Color marker pen. For the background, i'm using yellow and green spray paint.

This butterfly hanger also order from Taiwan, and i've try with my stencil from The Crafters Workshop with the color spray paint, and the results is amazing!

That's all for my post today, will upload more when i've done my art works.

Emboss experiences

I'm not a good blogger, i admit that. I've not update my blogger since last year...
Too many things to settle, too many things happened by this half year... To cut the story short, i try to upload all the scrappy art work that i've made as soon as possible.

As mentioned in previous blog, i've bought my die cut machine, and i've used it to do the die cut and emboss effect for these 2 cards. These cards is special order by my colleague, whom will go for a 6 years old birthday girl's party on that Saturday.

For the left card, i'm using the birthday cup cakes stamp from Hero Art and color with Tim Holtz Distress Markers. The "Happy Birthday" wording is by Unity Stamp - Party All Day Kit.

For the right card, the cute little girl is from Penny Black - Mimi At Play kit, you may find more details here. The beautiful emboss background, i'm using the Spellbinders M-Bossabilities folder called Whimsy, i bought it from aifel.com as well.

For these 2 pictures, actually it is the present i make for my friend Angeline, the one that inspired me to get involve in the scrapping world. The first picture is a decoupage display hanger, and i've combine both decoupage Technic and scrapping skill to do it. The sentiment is from Unity Stamp Where you should be kit, and it just match the person perfectly.

For the card, the cute little image i'm using the free gifts from a magazine, and i'm using the check pattern emboss folder from Darice. I like it a lot cause it just look so sweet!

Here is another card i'm using the same emboss folder and a free stamp from another magazine, special request from my friend who actually rushing for nice birthday card urgently.

Coming up I've made this card as a thank you card for my colleague in Singapore who actually give a big help to me the other day. Inspired by this stamp from Unity Stamp, You Are Filled. This is just so amazing.

Then later, i've made these 3 cards with the same emboss folder from Lifestyle Craft Happy Birthday Emboss folder. The design is so pretty and you can just apply it without any colour.

This card is made in the mid of making Christmas cards, i just miss my friend who is staying in NZ now. I'm using the Miss You Friend stamp from Unity Stamp, and colored it with Promarkers.

Well, i will show your my first scrappy class in the next post, hand on doing Mini Album with Angeline Choo.

See Ya!
