Let love fly in the night

Hello my scrappy friends, how are you today?
It's always feel so good on Friday especially you have some personal time to create something beautiful in your scrappy room. Yay!

Today i wanna share with you all my new card using Unity StampLet love fly stamp.
I love this stamp so much and it's from Unity Illustrator Phyllis Harris, all her stamps just too adorable and awesome.
Just a hint to you, Unity is having great sales for all the Phyllis Harris stamps this week, grabs it before it gone!

And here is my card today.
It take a great courage for me to try on something new to me -- to used dark/black color on my image.
I always afraid to color my image in darker color as i worried that it will ruins down the whole idea of the card/ artwork. As i blending the distress ink on my card literally,  i begin to release my tension and i just enjoy myself the whole process of making this card.

It take me more than an hour to complete this card, yet i enjoyed to the max as i learning to try on something new to me.
I colored my image with color pencil, then i blended the color with water brush to creates the water color effect.
After this, I embossed the sentiment from the same kit on vellum and decorate with some cute flower brads and stone.

Last, i tie up a ribbon bow and apply some silver stickles in the sky to create a galaxy night scene on my card.

Happy Fathers' Day

Hey, I'm sharing my another artwork for today FWF entry, Friday just so awesome till i refuse to go to bed so early!

I decided to make another quick CAS card tonight in conjunction with Fathers' Day on Sunday, and tell you a secret... this is my first card for my dad, feel so shy! :p

This card inspired by the Addicted to cas challenge 65: butterfly theme.
As i browsing through all the stamps i have, i found this beautiful butterfly stamp from Unity Stamp.
I remember i received this stamp from one of the grab bag offered by Unity some times ago, if you interest to get one, you may consider to get from here - Totally UtterlyAmazing -Kom 5/13.

I colored the center of the card with Distress Ink - Salty Ocean, Mustard Seed and Picked Raspberry.
After the card is dry, i emboss the butterfly image with Versa Mark transparent ink pad and black emboss powder.

Sorry that my camera cannot really capture the embossed butterfly for you, but the butterfly looks gorgeous on the card.
Last, i write on the :Happy Fathers' Day sentiments and added some sequins as decoration.

This is my card to today, happy fathers' day everyone.

Every breath is a GIFT

Hi peeps, good to be back again with my art work today.
Today, i'm sharing with you my recent bookmark with distress ink again.
I know I'm a bit obsess with Distress Ink, but it's really cool product to be use in any art work and the result is amazing. :)

This is my simple bookmark today.
I blended the background with Broken China, Faded Jeans, Shabby Shutter & Mowed Lawn.
Then i stamp up this beautiful image from Unity Stamp Every breath kit.

I emboss the sentiments which come together with the kit, and i added some sequins as decoration to the bookmark.

As i plan to keep it in my Bible, i decided not to color the image.
Sometimes, i love to keep my creation as simple as possible. :)

For the color for my bookmark, i actually inspired by Unity Be Inspired Monthly Challenge this month. You may enter the challenge by following the color, sketch or layout design which inspired by the theme below.
